Aliah University Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) – 2012

Aliah University, established by the Govt. of West Bengal through Aliah University Act (XXVII, 2007) of the West Bengal Legislature and declared as a Minority Institution and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), invites application for admission to the following programmes for the academic session 2012-13 through ALIAH UNIVERSITY ADMISSION TEST (AUAT) – 2012 to be held on 22.04.2012 between 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.

Group A

· B. Tech. in Civil Engineering (CEN),

· B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE),

· B. Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE),

· B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering (EEN),

· B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (MEN),

· 5-year integrated MCA*,

· 5-year integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry (with specialization in Medicinal Chemistry),

· 5-year integrated M.Sc. in Computer Science,

· 5-year integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics & Computing,

· 5-year integrated M.Sc. in Physics (with specialization in Engineering Physics),

· 5-year integrated M.Sc. in Statistics & Informatics.

Group B

· 5-year integrated M.A. in English,

· 5-year integrated MBA* (with specialization in Hospital, Retail, and Financial Management),

· 5-year integrated M.Sc. in Geography,

· 5-year integrated M.Sc. in Economics.

Eligibility for AUAT-2012

Candidates applying for Group-A of AUAT-2012 should have passed / expected to pass the final examination of the 10+2 pattern with Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at least 100 Marks each and should have secured at least an aggregate of 45% marks or equivalent grade in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.

Candidates applying for Group-B of AUAT-2012 should have passed / expected to pass the final examination of the 10+2 pattern with 45% marks in respective subject and should have secured at least an aggregate of 45% marks or equivalent grade of 10+2 pattern except MBA.

Candidates applying for MBA of Group B should have secured at least an aggregate of 45% marks or equivalent grade of 10+2 pattern.

How to Applyfor AUAT 2012

Application forms with prospectus will be available from the university office at DN-47, Sector-V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata-700091, from 16.01.2012 to 24.02.2012 during 11.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m. on all working days and the following branches of State Bank of India (SBI) from 16.01.2012 to 18.02.2012 on payment of Rs.400/- in cash.
