Step 3b-Enter Your CAT 2011 Details (Test Registration Number)

Step 4-Pay Rs. 1400/- (Rs. 920/- for SC/ST) by DD or Pay Rs. 1450/- (Rs. 950/- for SC/ST) by Credit/Debit card/
Net banking
Step 5-Print the Application Form (2 Pages in Total). Affix your Passport size recent photograph in the Filled and Printed Application Form.

Step 6- Send the Following by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier Service to avoid loss in transit Filled Application Form Demand Draft in favour of "Bharathidasan Institute of Management", payable at  Tiruchirappalli.Community Certificate (For BC, MBC and SC/ST Candidates)

Step 7-After Validation of Payment and receipt of Application Form at BIM Admissions office, you will be sent an email.

Step 8-After receipt of your Valid CAT 2011 score enter the CAT percentile online or send an email to admissions@bim.edu within 2 days on receipt of your cat results.

Pune University MBA (Biotechnology) Admission Notification Year 2012-13

The Department of Management Sciences, University of Pune has pioneered a two year full time MBA (Biotechnology) degree program since 2002 invites application for MBA (Biotechnology) for academic session 2012

Eligibility
A candidate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or who has appeared for the final year examination (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Zoology), Agriculture, Ayurved, Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Technology, Veterinary Sciences from a statutory university.

Selection Procedure:
Step 1:
Candidates seeking admission to this program for the academic year 2012 should have appeared for the ATMA test conducted on February 12th, 2012  (see details on www.atmaonline.in).
Step 2:
The interested candidates should register themselves for the GD/PI test (Group Discussion and Personal Interview) conducted by the Dept. of Management Sciences, University of Pune (PUMBA).

The details of GD/PI are given in the course prospectus.
The admission will be made strictly on the basis of overall merit i.e. written test (ATMA) score + GD score + PI score (Combined score).
Combined Score = ATMA Test Score +   GD Score + PI Score

How to Apply:
The prospectus can be obtained in person from the PUMBA office on payment of Rs. 900/- (for open category) and Rs. 700/- (for reserved category of State of Maharashtra only) by Demand Draft from February 1, 2012 on all working days between 11.00am to 5.00pm. 
The prospectus can also be obtained by post by paying through a DD of Rs. 950/- (for open category) and Rs. 750/- (for reserved category of State of Maharashtra only). 
The DD should be drawn in favor of ‘The Registrar University of Pune’, payable at Pune from any nationalized Bank. 

Imporatnt Dates:
·         The prospectus will be available by post till April 25, 2012.
·         The prospectus will be available at PUMBA office till April 30, 2012.
·         The completed forms will be accepted at PUMBA till 5PM on April 30, 2012.

Fee structure
The candidates will have to secure their admission by paying full fees during counseling.
The demand draft of any Nationalized Bank, should be drawn in the favor of‘The Registrar’, University of Pune, payable at Pune                        
Fees for Open category Candidates Rs 65,000/- per year
Fees for Other Backward Class category (OBC) Candidates Rs 32,500/- per year
GD/PI scheduled
The GD/PI is scheduled from June 4, 2012 onwards.
The batch wise details will be available on department’s website and notice board from May 18th 2012. The admit cards for GD/PI will be posted via the self addressed stamped envelop sent by the candidate, communicating the Date, Time & Batch No. GD/PI Test.

Candidates seeking admission to First Year of Two Years Full Time AICTE approved MBA/MMS/ PGDBM/PGDM Courses for the Year 2012-13 are hereby informed that the Common Entrance Test (CET) will now be conducted on Sunday, 11th March, 2012 instead of Sunday, 26th February, 2012 to avoid overlapping with CMAT 2012 conducted by AICTE, New Delhi.

The detail notification regarding availability of Information Brochure, filling up on-line CET Application form, Eligibility Criteria etc. will be published in leading newspapers and will also be available on the official web site www.dte.org.in/mba in the last week of January, 2012. It is further notified that, as informed by the AICTE, the admissions to First Year of Two Years Full Time AICTE Approved MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDM Courses from the Academic Year 2013-14 will be carried out through CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) merit list only conducted by AICTE.

Eligibility:
Candidates seeking admission to the PGDM programme shall be required to possess a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline of a University or equivalent thereto.

Selection Procedure:
Admission to the programme shall be through an admission process of 100 points. A weight of 70% shall be for the performance in IITTM Admission Test. Another 15% points each are for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) respectively. A candidate to be eligible to be considered for admission must participate in all components of the admission process, i.e., Admission test, GD and PI. Merit for admission to the programme shall be determined by the institute. Candidates will exercise choice of programme and study centre during the counselling.


How to Apply:
Apply to IITTM latest by February 03, 2012 with admission fees of Rs. 800/- (500/- in case of SC/ ST/ PH) through a demand draft payable to Director-IITTM, payable at Gwalior.
